Fifty Shades Darker and
Fifty Shades Freed.
First I will say that this is one of the best books I’ve read this year, I don’t give out a whole lot of 5 star ratings but this book/series has that and more ...if I could rate it higher I definitely would.
I have taken my time in writing this review as I am not sure what I can say to explain how great this book and entire series is without giving away spoilers. So let’s take a look at the book description the author has written, because if you can read her description and you still haven’t went and picked this book up to read I am not sure I have anything else I could add to persuade you to GO BUY THIS BOOK!.
Book Description Posted on Goodreads:
When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time.
The unworldly, innocent Ana is shocked to realize she wants this man, and when he warns her to keep her distance it only makes her more desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her - but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey's singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success – his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving adoptive family – Grey is man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a passionate, physical and daring affair, Ana learns more about her own dark desires, as well as the Christian Grey hidden away from public scrutiny.
Can their relationship transcend physical passion? Will Ana find it in herself to submit to the self-indulgent Master? And if she does, will she still love what she finds?
Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.
My Review:
So in reading that (book description) my review is going to be a bit different or let’s say special as really I am reviewing the whole series.....but first I will say that E.L. James writing is fantastic, her character description of both Ana and Christian is flawless. The dialogue between the two main characters feels natural, funny and omg hot. The two things that stood out to me in this story/series are the emails between Ana and Christian and of course Ana’s inner goddess. You will have to read all 3 books to understand what I am talking about. This series is one of the best romance series I have read in many years and I would say I agree with some of the other reviewers that these books could go down as one of the best love stories written. It’s funny to think how much this series has affected so many of us readers, there are many of us who will admit freely that we all dream of Christian Grey.
Christian Grey is a brilliant, successful CEO; he is so tormented by his past, which has lead him into a life style that he is always in control. Until Anastasia walks in or should I say falls into his office, Ana who at first we think is a bit naive and has some of her own self esteem issues we see the depth in her personality and watch her become a woman of strength and compassion. The love between Ana and Christian is powerful and heart wrenching all at the same time, it’s one of those love stories that make you wish you were Ana.
So this is how I imagine My Christian Grey:

Christian in his car (that Ana does get to drive)

Christian relaxing right before they enter the Red Room

Christian relaxing with his sweats on

and Christian when he knows he is getting his own way.

These pictures will be clearer once you go read the books. Oh and while your buying Fifty Shades of Grey you mise well purchase Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed because you will end up back there anyway.
